Having good friends is an important part of life, and they can make you feel very happy. Making new friends and losing friends is a normal part of life, especially as you get older. There may also be times when you fall out with friends and that can feel quite lonely. Friends can support you when you need help and you may also find that there are times that friends need your help.
There are many services in RCT that can give friendship advice and support to children and young people up to the age of 25. We have put them all in one place so you can quickly decide which one is best for you.
Youth Engagement and Participation Service (YEPS) have useful advice friendships including:
- Friendships for 11-16 year olds and 17+
- Moving schools
Getting out and about helps keep you healthy and promotes good mental health helping you socialise and meet new people along the way.
