School and Learning

Where we live in Wales it is the law that all children must be able to have an education after their 5th birthday. There are a few different ways that this might happen, but most children will go to a school. Some may stay at home and get an education slightly differently. We all spend a lot of time at school! It’s a really important part of our lives where we can learn, make friends and be active. It’s OK to sometimes feel worried about school but also really important that you talk to someone about how you feel.

If you are worried about anything at all talk to a teacher, family member or friend that you trust.

Talking can make you feel better and they may be able to help you. It's always good to plan what you want to say first and think about what you would like to happen next. For example:

  • What is wrong
  • How it makes you feel
  • How long it has been happening / you have been feeling this way
  • How you would like them to help you
  • What you would like to happen

Below we have put together some of the websites that might be able to help you with school.
